What if there were a guide to influence with integrity, to ethically persuade others? And what if the principles were scripturally
sound? Well now there is. Christ-Centered Selling: A Scripturally Based Guide to Principled, Profitable Persuasion is just that.
It is a book for Parents & Pastors, Teachers & Trainers, Salespeople & Students.
John LaBriola is the president and founder of Lighthouse Training, a nationally recognized training and consulting company. John has
spent the last fifteen years teaching persuasion skills to businesses all across the country. A subtle, yet undeniable, presence of
Christian principles has been a key characteristic of the work of Lighthouse Training. John's book, Christ Centered Selling: A Scripturally
Based Guide to Principled, Profitable Persuasion, is the fullest expression of his belief that one's work can be a sacred act that can
bring glory to God.
Part of the NDP Speaker Series in conjunction with the Spirituality Coordinator, Carolyn Schmidt, this program is being made available to ALL
Notre Dame San Diego alumni, friends and family. We would like to thank John Hargrove for securing this tremendous event location. Thanks, John!

Habitat for Humanity
WHERE: Habitat's ReStore located in Mission Valley
Last year, the University celebrated Father Hesburgh's birthday through the Month of May Community Service. It was such a huge
success that the University would like to continue this annual. We would like to continue our participation in the Hesburgh
Month of Service but having our local alumni volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
Lunch is typically provided by Habitat. The store is a vital component of Habitat's funding. They are understaffed and need
all the help they can get. The ReStore, our home improvement outlet store open to the public, helps to fund our operations
and the construction of new homes through the sales of donated building materials. On a daily basis we rely on volunteers to
help keep the store organized and presentable, to price and stock items, and to assist customers. The ReStore is open Saturday
9:00am-4:30pm.
For more information please contact Tammy Lin. WE ONLY HAVE 10 SPOTS ONLY AVAILABLE.
Families and teens are encouraged to volunteer. Volunteers must be prepared to do some manual labor.
